Nargis is a Hindi drama series that aired on DD National in 2000s produced by Kesar Singh and directed by Rajesh Kumar S. Sah. The series casted Jayshri Rao as the lead role of Nargis along with other actors including Adarsh Gautam, Nina Chima, Shripada, Sahiba, Bharti Sharma, Preeta Jain, etc. The serial was based on a young girl named Nargis. She fell in love with a young man. The show has portrayed a beautiful love story of the two young people. They eventually got married. But society as always was not happy with their action. Her parents were shattered because of this decision of hers as they never wanted her to do anything against their wishes.[1][2][3][4]
